The Bengaluru Urban District Chess Association (BUDCA) has been formed under the aegis of the Karnataka State Chess Association with the purpose of encouraging and promoting game of chess in Bengaluru urban areas.

The BUDCA is led by a team of 13 women with a passion to promote the game of chess. This group is a rare combination of chess players, chess parents and chess tournament organizers.
