The First BUDCA monthly tournament was successfully conducted on November 14th at KASSIA Hall, Vijayanagar. We had 400 participants and 200 parents accompanying them.

Sri. Aravind shastry General seceratary, KSCA, Sri. Arjun Singar Educational statergist and Tedx speaker were the chief guest.

The Event was started with lighting of lamp by our cheif guests accompanied by BUDCA President Ms.Nirmala Raghunath and BUDCA Secretary Ms.Shruthi Krishnan.

BUDCA Paid respect to our Late Secretary Shri. Hanumantha Rajanna. A Visionary administrator who took Karnataka chess to the next level. He was remembered for his selfless efforts. He was a strong pillar of Karnataka Chess.

BUDCA felicitated Master. Pranav Anand the youngest IM of Karnataka for his tremendous achievement in the field of chess.

The tournament was moderated by IA Saleem Beig & FA Anil N J.

The prize distribution was done by Sri. Sushruta Reddy, the Millionaire chess winner of 2014.

IM Ramanathan Balasubramaniam emerged as the champion of the event. Abhyuday Santhosh was the first runner up followed by Shree Krishna Pranama.
